Common Impairments and Functional Assessment of the Ankle and Foot

This course teaches physical therapy providers about the common ankle and foot conditions seen in older adults. After a brief review of the anatomy and biomechanics, you will learn the clinical presentation and risk factors for common foot and ankle conditions. A case study demonstrates best practices for functional ankle and foot evaluations. Treatment of ankle and foot conditions is not covered in detail in this course.
