Functional Strength Training for Older Adults

Physical therapy and occupational therapy providers can guide older adults to achieve their optimal function by developing evidence-based functional strength training programs. This course will discuss evidence-based, clinically relevant tests to objectively assess functional strength and offer interventions that align with the assessment results. Issues of safety and appropriate progression when working with this population will be addressed.
